Buenavista Supported Living Services is all about empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to live vibrant, fulfilling lives. We champion choice, community involvement, and meaningful social roles. By tapping into each client's unique strengths and passions, we help them find accessible housing, build a strong Circle of Support, and boost their confidence in their rights and abilities.
Our History
Buenavista started its journey in 2000 supporting individuals with developmental disabilities through group homes. Through the years and many steps towards being more person-centered, including 1:1 training with Cornell University, we found Supported Living Services to be the true essence of individuals living a life of their own choosing.

Community Integration and Participation
We strive to create opportunities for individuals to engage in community activities, build natural support, and develop meaningful relationships. Our services facilitate access to community resources and promote active participation in community life, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion.
Health, Safety, and Well-Being
We provide ongoing monitoring and support to identify and address any changes in the individual’s needs and preferences, ensuring that services remain responsive and risks are minimized. Our staff are trained to recognize and respond to potential hazards, advocating for the Client’s right to a safe and secure living environment.
Empowerment and Advocacy
We believe in empowering individuals to advocate for themselves and exercise their rights. Our services include education and support to help Clients understand their rights and responsibilities, and we encourage active participation in the planning and implementation of their services. We also collaborate with families and other support networks to ensure a comprehensive approach to advocacy and empowerment.
